The Open Pillar — Every Matter Deserves Consideration
The Open Pillar provides a place for any and all matters that do not fall within the scope of another established (PSUA) Pursue Australia pillar.
It ensures that community concerns, ideas and matters of public interest are not overlooked simply because they do not fit within an existing research category.
The Open Pillar holds equal importance to every other national pillar and operates under the same organisational principles, responsibilities and governance standards.
Every Voice Counts.
How the Open Pillar Works
The Open Pillar operates under the same research, community participation, evidence-based assessment, transparency and accountability principles as all other (PSUA) Pursue Australia pillars.
It provides a place for any and all matters that do not fall within the scope of an existing pillar, ensuring important community concerns, ideas and issues are not overlooked.
Matters raised through the Open Pillar are researched, assessed and progressed through the same established PSUA governance and accountability processes.
Current Status
There are currently no active investigations, projects or emerging research matters assigned specifically to the Open Pillar.
The pillar remains available for future community concerns, research proposals and matters that fall outside the scope of the other established national pillars.
New matters will be considered through the same established research and governance processes applied across (PSUA) Pursue Australia.
