Meet Bindi & Parker
The Official Mascots of People Standing United Australia
Why Bindi & Parker?
Bindi and Parker weren't chosen simply because they're uniquely Australian animals. They were chosen because of what they represent.
Across Australia, there are people, communities and concerns that are too often overlooked, underestimated or forgotten. Like the underdogs of our natural world, their importance should never be measured by how visible, powerful or widely recognised they are.
Bindi the Bilby — Every Voice Matters
The greater bilby once lived across much of Australia, but its natural range has dramatically declined. Despite its important role in our environment, it has faced threats that have placed its future at risk.
Bindi represents the quieter voices, those whose contributions go unseen and whose concerns are too easily overlooked. She reminds us that being small, vulnerable or unheard does not make someone less important or less deserving of protection.
Parker the Platypus — Strength in Being Different
The platypus is one of Australia's most unusual and remarkable native animals. Its uniqueness makes it instantly recognisable, yet it too faces pressures that threaten its habitat and future.
Parker represents individuality, resilience and the strength found in being different. He reminds us that people should not have to fit conventional expectations to be recognised, respected or valued.
Why Their Stories Matter to Us
Bindi and Parker represent the underdogs — those who may be overlooked, underestimated or forgotten, yet have an important place in the world around them.
Their stories remind us that we should recognise value, protect what matters and listen before something or someone reaches a point of crisis.
That is the purpose behind (PSUA) Pursue Australia: ensuring that people, communities and concerns are not dismissed simply because they are quieter, different or less influential.
Together, Bindi and Parker represent the belief that every Australian deserves to be heard, respected and given the opportunity to contribute.
Every Voice Counts.
Meet Bindi
Bindi is a bilby — one of Australia's most iconic and beloved native animals. Curious, warm-hearted and fiercely loyal, Bindi represents the everyday Australians who care deeply about their communities and aren't afraid to speak up.
She embodies the spirit of grassroots action — the mums, daughters, neighbours and community members who show up, get involved and make a difference at the local level.
Bindi reminds us that every voice counts, no matter how small it might feel. When Australians come together, they are anything but small.
Meet Parker
Parker is a platypus — one of the most unique and resilient creatures on earth. Adaptable, resourceful and quietly determined, Parker represents the practical problem-solvers and community builders who roll up their sleeves and get things done.
He stands for the dads, sons, tradespeople, farmers and workers across Australia who want to see real change — not just talk about it.
Parker is proof that being different is a strength. Australia's diversity — in people, in ideas, in backgrounds — is what makes us extraordinary.
Their Shared Purpose
Bindi and Parker stand together because Australia's challenges require all of us — every community, every generation, every voice — working in the same direction.
They wear the PSUA uniform with pride, representing the movement's commitment to duty, honour and a better future for every Australian.
"Every Voice Counts. In Duty with Honour for the Futures Future."
