PSUA Events & Community Activities
Our work doesn't stop when the calendar is empty.
People Standing United Australia is a volunteer-led civic organisation working year-round to strengthen community participation, government transparency and public accountability.
While we have no public events currently scheduled for the remainder of 2026, our members and volunteers remain active across Australia.
No Scheduled Public Events — But Plenty of Work Underway
Throughout 2026, PSUA has been concentrating on research, submissions, community advocacy and formal enquiries.
Our work includes examining government decisions, policies and legislation; raising questions about public spending and accountability; and helping ensure community perspectives are presented through appropriate consultation processes.
PSUA engages with government representatives across different political parties and all levels of government, as well as relevant public authorities.
We also examine the influence of domestic and international lobbying, corporate arrangements and government transactions where questions of transparency, public benefit or accountability arise.
This includes matters such as proposed discounted public land sales, discussed further on our News & Updates page. News & Updates page.
Government processes may pause. Community responsibility doesn't. Neither do we.
See a PSUA Member in Your Community?
See Our Logo? Say Hello.
If you spot someone wearing a PSUA shirt, feel free to introduce yourself and ask what PSUA is working on.
They might be involved in local research, volunteering, community consultation or simply supporting PSUA as a registered member.
Not every member is an authorised coordinator or spokesperson, but every conversation can help build community connections.
Sometimes, stronger community participation begins with a simple conversation.
Activate Your Local Area
Your Community. Your Voice. Your Local PSUA Team.
You don't need to wait for a national event to become involved.
Talk to your neighbours, connect with other interested residents and explore how you can help establish PSUA activity in your local government area (LGA).
PSUA aims to encourage community participation across Australia's local government areas, with opportunities for members to share concerns, contribute evidence, examine local decisions and participate in constructive civic discussion.
As local teams become established, they may arrange:
- Casual coffee catch-ups and community meet-ups.
- Local member introductions and information sessions.
- Discussions about emerging community concerns.
- Research and community consultation meetings.
- Opportunities to connect with local coordinators and volunteers.
These are examples of activities local teams may organise, not events already scheduled.
Start the conversation. Connect your community. Help get your local area active.
